Conference Overview

The Local Content Conference and Exhibition (LCCE) is an annual event organised by Ghana’s upstream petroleum regulator, Petroleum Commission. It serves as Ghana upstream petroleum industry’s flagship event for advancing local participation in the upstream petroleum industry.

“Revitalising Ghana's Petroleum Exploration and Production Sector: Driving Innovation and Redefining Local Content for a Competitive Energy Economy.”

The Conference offers a platform for industry experts, investors, policymakers, and local businesses to network, discuss strategies, and explore opportunities to enhance local content development in the industry.It is expected that this gathering of key stakeholders will stimulate investment in the industry, showcase opportunities for indigenous companies, promote innovation and sustainability. It is also aimed at fostering local content development and collaboration among International Oil Companies (IOCs), and Ghanaian service providers.

Objectives

This three-day event is designed to:

  • Set a roadmap for Ghana’s upstream petroleum sector

  • Enable dialogue between government, industry, academics, and local stakeholders

  • Hold sessions addressing research, financing, local participation, and other practical solutions

  • Create networking opportunities for decision makers

  • Showcase policy, technology, investment trends, and community engagement initiatives that can drive sector revitalisation

Target Audience

Government representatives, International Oil Companies (IOCs), Local service providers, Investors, Financial institutions, Academia, Civil Society Organizations.

The event is expected to host over 1,000 participants both locally and internationally and attract experts across the industry to share their experience on strategies to stimulate E&P activities through enhanced investments in the industry.
